A competition is open for the award of a research grant (BIPD – Doctor) within the scope of the R&D institution, Psychology Research Center – CIP, of the Autonomous University of Lisbon, with the reference UIDB/04345/2020, with financial support from FCT/MCTES through national funds (PIDDAC)

Admission requirements:

Doctorate in Psychology (Doctor degree obtained in the last three years) and Degree in Psychology.

preference criteria

Publication of scientific articles as first author, in indexed scientific journals;

Experience in data analysis;

Fluency in writing in English.

Work plan

Collaboration in bibliographic review, data analysis and writing of scientific articles under development within the scope of the “Transcultural Factors of Well-Being” Project.

Workplace

The work will be carried out in person at the facilities of CIP – Psychology Research Center, of the Autonomous University of Lisbon, Rua de Santa Marta, 47, 3rd floor, gab. 304, under the guidance of Doctor Iolanda Galinha.

The amount of the scholarship corresponds to €1,616 according to the table of scholarship values awarded directly by FCT, IP in the country (https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores)

selection methods

Three candidates who meet the admission requirements and based on the preference criteria will be considered for interview. Candidates will be evaluated according to the following considerations: curriculum assessment (70%), interview (20%) and motivation letter (10%).

Publication/notification of results

Candidates admitted for an interview are invited by email. The final results of the evaluation will be published, through a list ordered by the final grade obtained, in a public place on the website of the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (www.autonoma.pt), and the approved candidate will be notified via email. All applicants will be notified of the decision by email.

Application deadline and form of submission of applications

The competition is open between February 8 and March 8, 2021.

Complaint deadline

After the final decision, and notification to the candidates, it must be taken within 15 working days, or appeal to the highest executive body of the funding entity within 30 working days.

Results

On the thirtieth day of March 2021, the jury of the competition for the award of a Research Grant (BIPD) within the scope of the R&D Unit – Psychology Research Center – CIP, with the reference BIPD _2021_1 UIDB/04345/2020, scientific area of Psychological Sciences and specific scientific area of psychology, met at the premises of the Autonomous University of Lisbon, at 12 pm. This meeting was justified by the fact that the Jury was informed that the selected candidate, Rita Morais, withdrew from the competition for the grant. Following this, it was decided to replace her with the second candidate on the final ranking list, Alyane Audibert Silveira. Contact was made with this candidate, and she was informed of her unavailability to accept the Scholarship. Thus, the competition was closed with no candidate admitted.
