Multiproblem families present several indicators of vulnerability, difficulties of different nature and dysfunctional relational and communicational patterns that tend to be repeated transgenerationally. They are often in a situation of psychosocial risk and chronic sociocultural deprivation, perpetuating a cycle of poverty. This mixed methodology project follows an action-research design that aims to promote skills and empowerment familiar. “Giving power” to these families in a vulnerable situation, through a multidisciplinary family-centered intervention, will contribute to their resilience, greater autonomy, capacity for self-organization, self-regulation and dealing with problems, promoting reflection and experiencing new forms of interaction. The project includes several moments (initial assessment and the effect of the intervention), focusing on individual and family variables.
