A competition is open for the award of a scientific initiation scholarship (BIC) within the scope of the R&D institution, Psychology Research Center of the Autonomous University of Lisbon – CIP-UAL, with the reference CIP-PSI/04345/2013 with financial support from the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education (MCTES)
Psychology degree student with minimum daily availability of 4 hours.
Integration into research projects in the field of psychology; Data collection in the field; insertion of data into a database using specific software.
The scholarship is awarded under Law No. 40/2004, of 18 August (Scientific Research Fellow Statute) and the Scholarship and Research Regulations of the Foundation for Science and Technology in force.

The work will be carried out at CIP-UAL – Psychology Research Center of the Autonomous University of Lisbon, Luís de Camões (a) and in the locations indicated for data collection – Greater Lisbon area
The scholarship will last for 5 months, starting on January 16, 2016.
The scholarship contract may be renewed for a maximum of 6 months.
The amount of the scholarship corresponds to €385 according to the table of scholarship values awarded directly by FCT, IP in the country (http://alfa.fct.mctes.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores).
Only the 10 candidates who obtained the highest average in the degree courses will be considered for selection. The selection tests include the following elements:
Motivation letter (5%), CV assessment (15%), knowledge tests (20%), tests
group (25%) and interview performance (35%)

The final results of the assessment will be published in a public place on the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa and CIP-UAL website, with all candidates notified by email.
The competition is open from November 30th to December 19th.

After the final decision, and notification to the candidates, it must be taken within 15 working days, or appeal to the highest executive body of the funding entity within 30 working days.
